We welcome you to our blog, and hope you enjoy reading it as much as we enjoy writing it. Modern Vintage Love is the brainchild of two sisters who are passionate about many things – some sentiments we share, and some are uniquely our own.
Our name describes the two of us. Lisa’s tastes lean modern, and Laurie’s tastes lean vintage. While our tastes tend in different directions, we both appreciate creativity in whatever form it manifests itself. The love describes what binds us – a love for each other, our incredible family (including the men who tirelessly support us), our amazing friends and our appreciation for life and all it offers.
Lisa lives in Florida; Laurie lives in California. Lisa has a background in corporate retail, and now works for a worldwide leader in consumer products and medical devices; Laurie has a background in IT and works for a highly regarded defense contractor. Lisa sticks as closely as possible to a gluten free diet; Laurie is a pescatarian.
